Addo 1. Addo Elephant National Park. October 2013 Location: S33 26 38.1 E25 44 44.9 Contact: www.sanparks.org/parks/addo Cost: See website for current prices. Ablutions: Clean. Hot water. Electric: Yes. Sites: Marked pitches. The caravan sites are larger than the camping ones. Some have shade.
Other: There are kitchen areas with hot plates and dishwashing facilities. There's a shop, restaurant and pool at the Rest Camp. There's a hide overlooking a waterhole in walking distance from the campsite. Addo 2. The Homestead. October 2013 Location: In Addo town S33 32 20.0 E25 40 55.0 Contact: www.homesteadbnb.co.za Cost: See website for current prices. Ablutions: Clean. Hot water. Electric: Yes. Sites: Marked pitches with some shade.
Other: A nice quiet site which is only 15km from the main entrance to Addo Elephant Park. Mountain Zebra National Park. October 2013 Location: S32 13 28.0 E25 28 42.4 Contact: www.sanparks.org/parks/mountain_zebra Cost: See website for current prices. Ablutions: Clean. Hot water. Electric: Yes. Sites: Camp where you want. Some areas have shade.
Other: The site gets busy during the school holidays. We've stayed here on several occassions and always enjoy it. There's a shop, restaurant and pool at the Rest Camp. There are plenty of drives around the Park and cheetah were introduced into the Park a few years ago. Somerset East. Die Kaia. October 2013 Location: A few km south ofSomerset East. S32 46 34.4 E25 36 14.6 Contact: diekaiaresort.co.za Cost: See website for current prices. Ablutions: Clean. Hot water. Electric: Yes. Sites: There's a field where you can camp where you like plus a few pithces on terracing overlooking the river.

Steytleville. Noorspoort Guest Farm. October 2013 Location: About 5km NE of Steytleville. S33 17 33.6 E24 22 11.5 Contact: www.noorspoort.co.za Ablutions: Clean. Hot water. Electric: Yes. Sites: A small campsite in an open area next to the farmhouse.
