KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa 2014.

In 2014 we spent a lot of time in the UK or in Richmond. In the UK Michelle's mum had to move into Residential Care, her house and most of the furniture had to be sold. Luckily we found an excellent Home which is only 10 minutes drive from where Michelle's sister lives. In Richmond one of our tenants gave notice so we decided to move out of Pat and Colin's tiny cottage and into a lovely 2 bedroomed bungalow. As it had been rented out for the past 10 years there was a of of work to be done inside and out so when not in the UK we were busy making improvements to the house. We've also started to make good friends here in Richmond and most late afternoons we walk down to the local pub, The Coach House, for a few drinks, a chat, a game of pool and, on Saturdays, to watch the Springbok and KZN Sharks rugby matches.

We did have a few days away on several occasions, twice we went away with our niece Carol and her husband Darryl, twice we took the twins, (our great nephews) Mark and Jason, on fishing trips and once we went to Umlalazi in our own.
